  1. If you are installingthe plug-in for the first time skip to step 2
    If you are reinstalling the plug-in or upgrading to the newest version continue with the steps below:
    -Shut down InDesign
    -go to the  “C:\Program Files \Adobe\Adobe InDesign CC\Plug-Ins
    - Zip up the Printsource folder 
    - next double click the old "Printsource" folder
    -Once inside the old printsource folder, select and delete everything EXCEPT  the "PrintSourceProperties file"
  2. Install InDesign if you do not already have it installed on your machine
  3. Check to make sure the latest version of Indesign is installed. To do this open "Adobe Creative Cloud" found in your "Programs" folder.
    Open the "Apps" Tab in the "Creative Cloud" and find InDesign. If you need to download the application, click "buy". If you have it installed but it needs to update Click "Update" next to the program name.

  4. Close out of InDesign if open.
  5. (A)Download the "dll.zip" file from the email and save it to your desktop
     
    (B) right click the "dlls.zip" file you downloaded and select "Extract files"

    (C) Open the newly extracted "dll" folder and copy all the files. This can be done by clicking the first file, holding the "Shift" key, selecting the last file and, hitting the "Ctrl"+ "C" keys simultaneously.
     
  6. Open up a new "Windows  Explorer" window and on the left hand side, navigate to "Programs"-> "Adobe"-> "Adobe InDesign CC 2017" folder and open it.

  7. Copy the files from 5 (B) into “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CC 2017"

  8. (A) Go back to the email and download the "WinCC2017_3Apr2017.zip" file to your desktop



    (B) Right click the "WinCC2017_3Apr2017.zip" file, click "Extract files"



    (C) Double click the newly unzipped "WinCC2017_3Apr2017" folder and find the "PRINTsource" folder



  9. Copy the "PrintSource" directory from step 8(C) into the "C:\Program Files \Adobe\Adobe InDesign CC2017/Plug-Ins" directory.

  10. (A) Download the "PrintSourceProperties.zip" file from the email and save it to your desktop. 


     (B) Right click the file and select "Extract files"

    (C) Open the newly unzipped PRINTsource folder and find the "PrintsourceProperties.Json" 



    copy the file from 10 (C) into the "PrintSource" folder. This can be found in the "C:\Program Files \Adobe\Adobe InDesign CC 2017/Plug-Ins/PRINTsource" directory.

    Open Adobe InDesign and start enjoying the Catsy plug-in
