Installing Catsy plugin for Adobe InDesign (Windows)

  1. Install InDesign if you do not already have it installed on your machine
  2. Check to make sure the latest version of Indesign is installed. To do this open "Adobe Creative Cloud" found in your "Programs" folder.
    Open the "Apps" Tab in the "Creative Cloud" and find InDesign. If you need to download the application, click "buy". If you have it installed but it needs to update Click "Update" next to the program.



  1. Close out of InDesign if open.
  2. (A) Download the "dll.zip" file from the link in your email and save it to your desktop.

     

    (B) right click the "dlls.zip" file you downloaded and select "Extract files"


    (C) Open the newly extracted "dll" folder and copy all the files. This can be done by clicking the first file, holding the "Shift" key, selecting the last file and, hitting the "Ctrl"+ "C" keys simultaneously.

     

  3. Open up a new "Windows  Explorer" window and on the left hand side, navigate to "Programs"-> "Adobe"-> "Adobe InDesign CC 20xx" folder and open it.



  4. Copy the .dll files from into “C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CC 20xx"



  5. (A) Go back to the email and download the "WinCC20xx_.zip" file to your desktop



    (B) Right click the "WinCC201x_xxxx.zip" file, click "Extract files"



    (C) Double click the newly unzipped "WinCC201x_xxxx" folder and find the "PRINTsource" folder



  6. Copy the "PrintSource" folder into the "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CC 20xx\Plug-Ins"




  7. Open InDesign to do a one time set up of your login details



  8. Select Options



  9. Select New



  10. Display Name: Catsy
    Catsy Hostname: https://app.catsy.com/cf-cm2/



  11. Select Ok, Ok, then enter your login credentials to begin using the Catsy Plugin



    Open Adobe InDesign and start enjoying the Catsy plug-in
