Product categories are used to group similar products that have different variations.
Example: Tools, Clothes, & Toys
Follow the steps below to set up your categories.
Example:
In the steps below, we will set up product categories for a power drill.
1. Select the "Tools" dropdown from the header menu and click "Categories."
2. Click the green plus button to create a new "Tools" category
3. Enter the category name and click "Add"
4. Once the master category has been created click the green plus under the second window to add a "Power Tools" subcategory within the master.
5. Your subcategory is now created. Click the green button under the next window to add the last subcategory for "Power Tools."
6. The category for "Power Drills" is now created. Repeat these steps to create more categories as needed.
