Creating a Template and Insert Field Specifiers

  1. Create a table

  2. Select your table size (you'll only need one body row).

  3.  Place your table in your document. Enter any static text and format the rest of the table to suit your needs.

  4.  To insert field specifiers in the table, make sure your cursor is in the cell you want to place it, right click on the attribute name ('number'), and click insert field specifier. Repeat this for all cells.

  5.  Field specifiers will appear with the Catsy attribute key and brackets around them.

  6. With your template selected open the EasyCatalog Pagination Rules

  7. Double click on fitting and select "Frame Height To Content Height". Click "OK" and close this panel.

Save your table template in an EasyCatalog Library and populate your table

  1. Create a new EasyCatalog Library to store your templates.

  2. Name your library and save it in your preferred location

  3.  Grab your template using the selection tool, drag and drop it into your library. Right click on 'untitled' to rename it.

  4.  With a group of items selected in the data panel, drag your template from the library in to your document.
