Attribute Naming Restrictions

This is a list of attribute names and keys which can’t be used in Catsy:

Create Date = 'CREATE_DATE',

Create User Id = 'CREATE_USER_ID',

Create User Name = 'CREATE_USER_NAME',

Id = 'ID',

Locales = 'LOCALES',

Option Attributes = 'OPTION_ATTRIBUTES',

Parent Id = 'PARENT_ID',

Update Date = 'UPDATE_DATE',

Update User Id = 'UPDATE_USER_ID',

Update User Name = 'UPDATE_USER_NAME',

Variation Sequence = ‘VARIATION_SEQUENCE'


For example, an Attribute named "Status" in Catsy has always been an attribute that exists in Catsy by default. We have what we call "system" attributes and those are Category, Completeness Score, Item Type, Main Image, Name and Number. In Catsy, those Attributes are always highlighted in red and are different from the rest and will always be part of the hardcoded "system" attributes that exist within the system. You’ll notice that all of these system attributes are highlighted in Red.
