Installing Catsy plugin for Adobe InDesign (Mac)

Getting Setup

  1. Install InDesign if you do not already have it installed on your machine

  2. If you already have InDesign installed, check to make sure you have the latest version. To do this open "Adobe Creative Cloud" found in your "Applications" folder

     

  3. Open the "Apps" Tab in the "Creative Cloud" and find InDesign. If you need to download the application, click "buy". If you have it installed but it needs to update click "Update".

     

  4. Close out of InDesign if open
     
  5. Download and unzip the plugin .zip folder that was sent to you from the Catsy support team. Inside you will find a PRINTsource folder. Drag and drop the PRINTsource folder onto your desktop to easily find later.



Installing the plug-in

  1. Open up a new "Finder" folder, on the left hand side select "Applications", then find the "Adobe InDesign CC 20xx" folder and open it.



  2. Next, find the "Plug-Ins" folder and open it

     

  3. Drag and drop the PRINTsource folder you placed on your desktop into the "Plug-Ins" folder. If you are reinstalling or updating from an older version select the option to Replace the current folder if prompted. 



Configuring InDesign

  1. Open InDesign to login




  2.  Ensure the Catsy host is selected, then enter your login credentials to begin using the Catsy Plugin
