Creating Derived attributes from Parent items

  1. Log into Catsy
  2. Navigate to Manage fields

  3. Under Item Attributes create a new attribute you wish to derive down 
    (If you have an attribute already created that you want to derive down you can skip this step)




  4. Create another attribute for the children items. Make this a derived attribute type



  5. Name this field

  6. In the Derived section, Choose "item"



  7. In the next drop down choose the parent field you wish to derive down




  8. Click save
