Importing Category Hierarchies

  1. Log into Catsy
  2. Navigate to TOOLS → Import Content 

  3. Select weather you want to import a hierarchy into the master repository or into a catalog. ( note that if you select import into master repository this will change the layout of the database and there is no mechanism to revert it back.
    1. If you select "import into a catalog" select the catalog type and the event where you want to import 



  4. Select "Category Hierarchy" 

  5. Choose your import file
  6. Click continue

  7. Match headers to that in Catsy if they are not already.

  8. Read over the import log for no errors.
  9. Click import.
  10. You will now see the updated hierarchyÂ
