Creating Category Specific fields

Some of the attributes that you need to keep track of may not be relevant for all of your data. For this reason, you would use Category Specific fields just for that category.

  1. Create a new category that will have specific attributes by clicking the red pencil and selecting "New Category"

     
     
  2. Click "TOOLS" on the top toolbar and select "Manage Fields"



  3.  Select the new category from the left side and on the upper right, select the "New" button



  4. In the botton left corner, search the Available fields box for the fields you want to add if you have already created them and click the "->" button to add them. If not, click the green "New" button on the left of the box to create the new fields. Once all fields are created or added, click "Save" on the botton and close the window.

     


  5. You have successfully create category specific fields.
